Amidst the current unemployment crisis, FIRST Security are still hiring!

Recent figures from Stats NZ have shown that the annual unemployment rates have increased to 4.6% for the month ending in June, compared to 4.4% in the previous quarter. And while the unemployment rate affects a range of Kiwis, it was reported that young people are suffering the brunt of this crisis.
People aged between 15 to 24 make up almost half of the newly unemployed, with many of them after more work but unable to secure the hours they need to stay afloat or to gain experience in the workforce.
This is why FIRST Security is calling on those who are currently unemployed or seeking a career change to apply for a role in security.
FIRST Security currently employs nearly 2000 staff, and of those employees approximately 25% are employees under 25. Whether you are looking to break into the industry, are unsure what your next steps are after finishing school, or just looking for a general change in a career path – FIRST Security could be the next step for you.
