 POSITION SUMMARY 
The purpose of this role is to carry out any Field related work within First Security as identified in this position description.
The key responsibilities of this role are to accurately and effectively respond to all jobs dispatched and to follow the procedures, protocols, and guidelines as set by FIRST Security and or their immediate contracts. 
The Field Services Officer is to act in the best interest of the business at all times. Care is necessary to ensure that all clients, matters, and tasks are dealt with in such a way that the company's position is protected and enhanced on all occasions and the principles of the company are upheld.

1.       Health and Safety ·       Full compliance with Health and Safety legislative requirements as well as FSGS Health and Safety policies, procedures and systems. ·       Health and safety policies and procedures are followed 
·       Is a role model to others within the division and the organisation in promoting FSGS’s commitment to safe work practices and a healthy working environment? ·       Full participation in all health and safety meetings and initiatives.
  ·       Proactively participates in hazard management, any rehabilitation programmes and welfare initiatives.
2.     Responding to call outs    
·       Respond to all jobs dispatched. ·       Only jobs submitted through First Security dispatching platforms may be performed or otherwise requested by Management. 
   
  ·       Ensure all job processes and checklists are performed using the correct procedures so that contract service penalties are minimised.
   
  ·       Be on site within a specified time as per SOP’s and escalate any issues in attending.
   
·       Attend to scheduled visits  
   
·       Scheduled site visits.  
   
3.     Reporting ·       Ensure any major incidents, events, complaints, or compliments are immediately put in writing  ·       Accurate and timely reports are produced that clearly articulate information to meet the customer and organisation’s needs.
·       Present reports/statements and or Affidavits when needed.
4.     Quality control and Compliance ·       Ensure equipment is checked out and in working order ·       Equipment should meet audit checks which are done at the start and end of each shift. 
·       Ensure compliance with OHS documentation requirements ·       Contractual obligations are met
·       Ensure all KPI’s are followed and met.   
5.     Technology ·       Demonstrate confidence in the operation of the following technology: ·       Able to logon to PC & access
·       PC, Laptop, or tablet ·       Ability to use Microsoft word & Excel programs
·       Radio Telephone use & professional etiquette ·       Able to check vehicle details
·       PDA Phone and GDS application ·       Confidently uses PDA & applies proper professional etiquette.
·       Any other Field Service technology required to complete the task ·       Ability to learn new technology to deliver services.

Essential Desirable
Ø  Ability to read situations and listen ¨     Capable of learning quickly in a changing and challenging environment
Ø  Excellent communicator ¨     First Aid experience or qualifications-not a must
Ø  Excellent time management and organisational skills ¨     Accustomed to dealing with different cultures
Ø  Demonstrates H&S experience ¨    Business related qualifications
Ø  COA - Mandatory  ¨    Experience within the security or government service understanding
Ø  Full drivers’ licence - Mandatory ¨    Adaptable to change
Ø  Articulate in English – verbal and written  
Ø  Resilience in achieving objectives and copes effectively with setbacks and problems

       Ø    Must be able to pass a MOJ criminal
